Hey guys, so tomorrow is Easter and I thought I'd give you one last little project to do. Sadly this recipe isn't completely vegan :( but I tried. So if you're like me you've probably made a bunny cake using two round cake pans but today I thought I'd put a twist on an old classic. I got my inspiration from studio DIY but I used a different cake recipe and changed the frosting just a bit, so thank you very much Kelly. If you want me to make a vegan version let me know in the comments as well as what you'd like me to do next.

Put your cakes in the freezer for about 15 minutes, it makes them easier to cut. Cut the cake like the photo guide below. Make sure to place your cake on the thing you want to serve it on.
Set the middle piece of the cake you divided above the other cake as shown. Cut the top corners of it to form a curved line along the top of the cake. Also trim the top of the remaining two cake pieces so they are rounded and remove the bottom point of each as well. These will form the ears for your peeps bunny!
Make your marshmallow frosting if you haven't already.
Place the ears above the body and frost the entire cake!
After you've frosted your cake sprinkle the sanding sugar all over it. This will take up a lot of sanding sugar so make sure to have plenty of sugar. My sister and I wound up having a sugar fight partially through so you probably won't need as much as us ;)
Use your decorating gel to give you cake the signature black eyes and nose and then you are done! Ours kind of looked like a gremlin but it still tastes great! Happy Easter Eve!
There might be a special Easter post tomorrow, but you didn't here it from me ;)
