Easter is just around the corner and I wanted to make an Easter DIY. These yarn eggs have been all over the internet lately and they looked super cute so I thought I'd try them. There are many variations of this craft and this is one of them. These are super simple and super inexpensive. Let me know if you want more Easter DIYs in the comments!

Add a whole role of embroidery floss to the mixture and coil it around the bowl until you've finished the string.
You may want to blow up your water balloons beforehand to save time. Blowing up the balloons is probably the hardest part of this craft. I filled my balloons with water and then poured the water out and then I blew them up, this stretches your balloon really well. Then take your balloons and start wrapping the embroidery floss around it. Just turn your balloon around like a rotisserie chicken in your hands, then start to move your balloon around in different directions to get the webbed look.
Now just lay them on a paper towel or a cookie sheet (or both like me) to dry. Once they're dry take a sewing needle or a push pin and pop the balloon.
That's basically all you have to do. You can put them in a decorative bowl or an easter basket or even string another piece of embroidery floss through them to put on the mantle. I hope you enjoyed this weeks post, see you next week with another one!
